I wrote this guided imagery to be used as a kind of all-purpose, healing meditation, with rich images of how the body rids itself of unhealthy cells and replaces them with healthy new growth. It’s got some lush metaphors that provide a general spiritual uplift. (42 min.)

I designed this guided imagery with help from combat vets, survivors of rape, bombings, accidents, natural disasters and incest, and I think it’s the best work I’ve done. It goes very deep, and seems to work best with seasoned wounds. In the immediate aftermath of trauma, I recommend most people start with the stress, sleep and grief imagery first. (60 min.)

KRS Edstrom blew me away with this superb CD for fear of flying. Her thoughtful, state-of-the-art program combines mindfulness, imagery and body awareness to gently relax the merely worried, and skillfully desensitize the terrified. Edstrom’s excellent, trustworthy voice, the well-scored music and thoughtfully inserted airport and plane noises amount to a first-rate production by a master of the craft. This marvelous, attractively designed kit has everything you need to learn how to shape up your life and your habits, quickly and easily. There’s a 52 page workbook, 2 audio CDs & 25 heart-health cards. We like the book and the mini-lectures because everything is nicely abbreviated (but still thorough) for easy use and quick learning - on risk factors, an anti-inflammatory diet, exercise, vitamins & supplements and mind-body tools. The second CD provides the mind-body tools: guided breathwork, mindfulness meditation , a loving kindness meditation and guided imagery. There’s a lot in this box!
